WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) – The Northeast Iowa Food Bank will host their bi-annual Cedar Valley Sack Lunch Delivery for the spring of 2019 on Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26. The deadline for orders is Friday, April 19 at 4:00 p.m.
Food bank staff and volunteers prepare the lunches, which consist of a pulled pork sandwich, bottle of water, chips, pasta salad, an orange and pudding cup. They then deliver them to the participating Cedar Valley organizations and businesses between 9 and 11:30 a.m. or 5:30 and 7 p.m. Thursday, or 9 until 11:30 a.m. Friday. Each lunch is $8. Proceeds support the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
