United Way of Rock River Valley recognizes donors, volunteers at celebration – WREX-TV

ROCKFORD (WREX) – United Way of Rock River Valley took time on Wednesday to celebrate those who have helped the organization over the past year.

The group held its Campaign Celebration. The event recognized the efforts made by the organization’s donors, volunteers and friends. Awards were presented to local organizations and businesses. The event also kicked off United Way’s centennial celebration.

“This is something we do annually to thank the hundreds of people that make our work possible,” said United Way of Rock River Valley President & CEO Paul Logli. “Every year, we have an event like this and celebrate the results of our campaign.”

Logli says as part of this past year’s campaign, the organization will have raised nearly $4 million.
