Army chief initiate NUTECH 'University for Industry' – Technology Times Pakistan

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa inaugurated the National University of Technology (NUTECH) designated as “University for Industry” on 24th April, 2019.

The rector, Lieutenant General (r) Khalid Asghar, briefed the army chief about academic activities and strategic education plan of the university.

As NUTECH be hopeful to generate cream of the crop of character for industry and skilled personnel for the economic development of Pakistan, COAS cherished the efficient conception of university-industry linkages.

The army chief guaranteed full support to NUTECH’s construction its future main campus on the periphery of Rawalpindi and Islamabad which will accommodate 30,000-50,000 students.
