Letter: Grafton Food Pantry grateful for donors, volunteers – Northwest Herald

3 min read

On behalf of the board of directors of Grafton Food Pantry, we want to extend our deepest appreciation to our donors and volunteers.

As a result of the generosity of the community, our “Holiday of Hope” campaign was a huge success and more than 170 local families in need were able to receive gifts and holiday dinners.

Many individuals, churches, organizations, businesses, Sun City clubs and neighborhoods joined together to make this a memorable season. Special thank you to our new friends at The Santa Project and Huntley Chat for including us in their efforts to ensure everyone had a very special holiday.

We live in an amazing community filled with open arms and big hearts, not just over the holidays, but throughout the year.

Pub 47 conducted the fifth annual Stuff the Bus with the creative efforts of Kim and Jeannie making it the best celebration imaginable offering visits with Santa, cookie decorating, bingo and festivities for the entire family. The owners of Pub 47 again went above and beyond expectations in their generosity to Grafton Food Pantry.

We are so grateful to you and admire your sense of community.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers who work tirelessly each and every day to ensure that no one goes hungry and that each client feels important as they walk through our doors. Your commitment and dedication is unparalleled.
