And the award goes to…

Gillette Main Street (GMS) held its inaugural GMS Volunteer Celebration Wednesday, Feb. 12, at The Railyard, where the community came together to celebrate and honor the volunteers and community sponsors who make the downtown nonprofit’s events and programs possible.

“We try to make our events free and accessible to everyone in the community, and without the generous support of our volunteers and donors, we simply couldn’t do that,” said GMS Program Coordinator Stefanie Crawford.

Awards were presented to:

Key Partner Award – First National Bank
Key Organization Award – Gillette College
Sponsor of the Year Award – Greg Dougherty (Greg’s Welding)
Volunteer of the Year Award – Mackenzie Nolan
Preservation Award – Mary Kelley
Board Member of the Year Award – Karen Cook
Voluntold Award – Todd Seders
